Graphic Design / Branding
Derale Performance / US Motor Works, LLC
As Creative Director I worked closely with VP of Marketing, Tom Longo to completely update Derale Performance and its sister companies branding. The goal was to create a look that represented these brands as individuals, but together represented US Motor Works, LLC as a whole. With the help of the team we implemented this branding throughout the product lines via catalogs, packaging, websites, all the way up to our booth designs for industry trade shows.
Oobalie Pro
The Oobalie Pro group is a distributor of high quality products for the hair and beauty industry. When their “Lil Mama” flat-iron was in the works owner Victor Val Verde reached out to me to create a package design that would be eye popping on any retail shelf. His goal was a clean but vibrant package, with a slightly urban vibe. He continued the package aesthetics onto their newest brushes for colorists. Once the product was in hand, I photographed a series of photos for use on their social and website.

H&H Flatheads
H&H Flatheads has been a great client of mine for years. Our paths met when owner Mike Herman needed some revisions to his printed catalog. He quickly relied on my creative direction to create hand illustrations for their merchandise line, which consisted of graphic tshirts, hats and sweatshirts. Before long we continue the look and vintage feel of these illustrations to create a cohesive look from website, catalog to merchandise.
Black Top Society
BTS Coffee is a personal project that brought together all my passions, creativity, coffee roasting and vintage motorcycles. Collabing with East Fork Supply Co. and other like minded creators, we would host special events and serviced small batch cold brew coffee and sold roasted whole bean coffee.
Fuel the Soul
As part of this venture, I put my illustrations skills to work. Graphic t-shirts were printed to promote the Black Top Society philosophy of, Live Ride Create. These hand illustrated designs were also used on packaging and other promotional items.
SO-CAL Speed Shop
SO-CAL Speed Shop is where it all began for my creative career. Working closely with President Pete Chapouris and Marketing Director Tony Thacker I created numerous creative assets for the company. As part of my role I was included in the production process, from sourcing apparel blanks to working with the print shops. Photography was yet another part of my daily tasks, this included product, vehicle and event photography. These images were utilized in our catalogs, e-news and advertisements.
